A tour to Materuni village and waterfalls is one of the best ways to leave your beaten safari car behind or do pre-Kilimanjaro acclimatization hike/post Kilimanjaro hike away from the bustling town of Moshi. The tour takes visitors to explore scenic coffee and banana farms, learn the culture and lifestyle of chagga farmers. The villagers will explain to you how coffee is locally cultivated, processed into a cup of coffee. Later proceed for a hike through banana and coffee farms to Materuni waterfall which is 150 m tall. You can choose to swim in the nearby water pool or just relax nearby for refreshing views and pictures. Local Lunch and drinks will be served by a group of local women in the village.
